A well preserved complete dorsal exoskeleton showing the rarely preserved ventral surface. This allows the internal structure of the eyes to be seen along with the hypostome (5mm x 6mm) in situ with tubercular ornament, the cephalic doubleture, both facial sutures, the ventral surface of the cephalon and the excellent detail of the ventral surface of the thoracic and pygidial tergites. The cephalic, thoracic and pygidial axial furrows appear as two pronounced ridges, the apodomes, used for attachment of the appendage muscles are present as a pair of projections on each axial ring. The apodomes are strongest in the thoracic region and weakest in the pygidium. From Dudley, West Midlands, UK.
