Mosasaurus camperi

The crown and part of the root of a very fine large tooth. Tooth no. 7 of 15 in an almost complete left lower jaw 1.0m long. In life orientation the flatter part of the crown is to the outside so that the teeth point inwards and slightly backwards. The crown measures 68mm x 40 mm and the root in the mandible would have been a further 80-90mm. From the Cretaceous of the Netherlands.
